COVID - 19 Notice to PH Residents, HCV Participants and Landlords

Monroe Housing Authority's board and staff are committed to doing everything we can to assure the health and safety of our residents, partners and staff during the coronavirus pandemic. We are following all directives from state, county, city and public health officials regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor Roy Cooper and City of Monroe's Mayor Bobby Kilgore have declared state of emergencies respectively. For the safety of our residents, staff and the public, Monroe Housing Authority has temporarily closed its Main Office at 504 Hough Street to general public access. All Community Rooms are temporarily closed and all meetings canceled until further notice.

We remain fully committed as best we safely can to provide on-going services to our residents, voucher participants, landlords and partners by making a host of services available by phone, email and on our website at www.monroehousing-nc.com. You may contact our administrative staff during regular office hours by phone or email.

We are all in unchartered territory during these challenging times, but we are here for you. I urge everyone to follow all public health directives and CDC guidance. For more information, you may visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/.

Wishing everyone continued wellness and safety as we work through these unprecedented circumstances. We will continue to keep you updated on Monroe Housing services as information or changes become available. Please be safe and stay healthy.

Best regards,
Anna McRae, Executive Director
