Public Notice: Section 8 Waiting List open for Non-elderly Disabled

Notice is hereby given that the Monroe Housing Authority will open its Waiting List on January 15, 2020 to receive applications for the Mainstream Voucher program serving disabled individuals under 62 years of age.

A preference will be given in the following categories:

1. Transitioning out of institutional and other segregated settings
2. At serious risk of institutionalization
3. Currently experiencing homelessness
4. Previously experienced homelessness and currently a client in a permanent supportive housing or rapid rehousing facility
5. At risk of homelessness

When: 
Applications will be taken on Wednesday of each week from January 15, 2020 until February 19, 2020 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Applicants must come in person to 504 Hough Street Monroe, North Carolina 28112 on days applications are being accepted.
